February 2, 2005 – Year of the Eucharist
Feast of the Presentation of the Child Jesus

Welcome to Our New Website!

Dear Friends,

For months, we had been promising that a new website was forthcoming. It is my pleasure to finally be able to present it to the world…it is our gift to you on the Feast of the Presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple.

I encourage you to browse the site for new articles and added features. It is my prayer that it will lead a vast number of God’s children to make their consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our only safe refuge.

We owe a debt of gratitude to Mary Guilbert for her dedication and patience in helping us launch the site, to her colleague Kate who did the design work for the header, and to Tracey Hartt for his help in creating the welcome/splash page. May Our Lady reward them abundantly.

We are still in the transitional stage, so please let us know if you notice anything unusual – i.e. links which are not working, misdirected links, etc.

Eucharistic Year Indulgences

From Vatican Information Services (VIS)…

Pope Grants Plenary Indulgences for year of the Eucharist
Friday, January 14, 2005 12:00:00 AM GMT

VATICAN CITY, JAN 14, 2005 (VIS) – A Decree from the Apostolic Penitentiary, dated December 25, 2004 and published today, states that during an audience granted on December 17, 2004 to Cardinal James Francis Stafford and Fr. John Francis Girotti, OFM.Conv., respectively penitentiary major and regent of the Apostolic Penitentiary, “the Holy Father wished to enrich with indulgences several determined acts of worship and devotion to the Most Holy Sacrament, which are indicated below. … The Decree will be in force during the Eucharistic Year, starting with the day of its publication in the L’Osservatore Romano. Notwithstanding any disposition to the contrary.” Following are excerpts:

“A Plenary Indulgence is granted to all faithful and to each individual faithful under the usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and prayer in keeping with the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff, with the soul completely removed from attachment to any form of sin), each and every time they participate attentively and piously in a sacred function or a devotional exercise undertaken in honor of the Blessed Sacrament, solemnly exposed and conserved in the tabernacle.

“A Plenary Indulgence is also granted, under the aforesaid conditions, to the clergy, to members of Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, and to other faithful who are by law obliged to recite the Liturgy of the Hours, as well as to those who customarily recite the Divine Office out of pure devotion, each and every time they recite – at the end of the day, in company or in private – Vespers and Night Prayers before the Lord present in the tabernacle.

“The faithful who, through illness or other just cause, are unable to visit the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist in a church or oratory, may obtain a Plenary Indulgence in their own homes, or wherever they may be because of their ailment, if, … with the intention of observing the three usual conditions as soon as possible, they make the visit spiritually and with the heart’s desire, … and recite the Our Father and the Creed, adding a pious invocation to Jesus in the Sacrament.

“If they are unable to do even this, they will receive a Plenary Indulgence if they unite themselves with interior desire to those who practice the normal conditions laid down for Indulgences, and offer the merciful God the illnesses and discomforts of their lives.”

The Decree asks that priests, especially pastors, inform the faithful “in the most convenient manner” of these dispositions, prepare, “with generous and ready spirit,” to hear confessions and to lead the faithful “in solemn public recitation of prayers to Jesus in the Sacrament.” The faithful are likewise exhorted “to give open witness of faith and veneration for the Blessed Sacrament” as proposed in such acts as Eucharistic procession and adoration, and Eucharistic and spiritual communion.”

About Indulgences….

An indulgence is the remission in the eyes of God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose culpable element has been taken away. To the faithful who are rightly disposed, a Plenary Indulgence grants the complete remission of the temporal punishment due to sin.

All the faithful, properly prepared, can fully enjoy the gift of the indulgence each day, in accordance with the following norms of the Catholic Church:

The following was condensed from the English version of the “Handbook of Indulgences” based on the Vatican’s “Enchiridion Indulgentiarum: Normae et Concessiones.”

1.To be capable of gaining indulgences, a person must be baptized, not excommunicated, and in a state of grace.

2.A plenary indulgence may be gained only once on any day.

3.The requirements for gaining a plenary indulgence are: the performance of the indulgenced work (in this case, the determined acts of worship and devotion to the Most Holy Sacrament which the Holy Father has indicated), and the fulfillment of the following three conditions*:

a. Sacramental confession (individual and complete)

b. Eucharistic communion

c. Prayer for the Pope’s intentions

*A further requirement is the exclusion of all attachment to sin, even venial sin. Unless this unqualified disposition – to renounce all attachment to our sins – and the three conditions are present, the indulgence will only be partial.

The above three conditions can be carried out several days preceding or following performance of the prescribed work, but it is more fitting that (b) communion and (c) prayer for the pope’s intention take place on the day this work is performed. It is also fitting that the faithful frequently receive the grace of the Sacrament of Penance, in order to grow in conversion and in purity of heart.

4.Several plenary indulgences may be gained on the basis of a single sacramental confession*; but only one plenary indulgence may be gained on the basis of a single communion and prayer for the pope’s intentions.

*If the penitent commits a mortal sin, he or she must have recourse to the Sacrament of Confession as soon as possible, and if possible before the prescribed work, in order to be able to gain the indulgence.

5.The condition requiring prayer for the pope’s intentions is completely satisfied by reciting once the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for his intentions. (The faithful have the option of reciting any other prayer suited to their own devotion and their reverence for the pope.)

News from Fr. Gobbi

Every January, Fr. Gobbi sends a letter to the National Directors of the Marian Movement of Priests around the world, and asks them to distribute this letter to the members in their respective countries. Next month, those on our mailing list will receive a copy of his 2005 letter from our Headquarters.

As indicated in Fr. Gobbi’s itinerary, this year’s international spiritual exercises (retreat) in Collevalenza, Italy, for the National and Regional Directors of the MMP, will take place from June 26-July 2 at the Shrine of Merciful Love. I invite all bishops, priests and deacons who would like to attend to contact Fr. Quercia for more information.

Fr. Gobbi’s Schedule for 2005

Fr. Gobbi is not able to travel to North America this year. He writes: “Unfortunately, my precarious state of health and the burden of age do not allow me to accept the warm invitations that I received to participate in cenacles in Oceania, Africa, Asia and North America.”

“Still, I propose to go from January 13 to March 22 to Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru ; on June 25 to Slovenia ; from August 28 to September 4 to the Republic of Czechoslovakia; from September 12 to 19 to Hungary ; from September 20 to 25 to Croatia; from September 26 to 28 to Slovenia ; and from October 8 to 22 to Ireland and Great Britain .”

Update on My Condition

As mentioned in my last director’s corner, I underwent hip replacement surgery on August 17, 2004. Then on November 5th, I had further surgery, this time to my right hand for a condition known as Dupuytren’s contracture – a problem which had been plaguing me for some time. I pray that my hip and hand will continue to heal under the watchful care of our Divine Physician.

My sincere thanks to all of you for your prayers and your “Get Well” wishes. I have received many cards and letters from priests and laity from several countries, even from as far away as India. Thank you for your spiritual support. I wish I could thank all of you individually, but it is impossible at this time. I am still undergoing therapy, therefore I will be away from the Headquarters for at least another four weeks.

Consecration of Russia

In the third of her six apparitions at Fatima, on July 13, 1917, the Blessed Virgin told the three shepherd children that she would return later to ask for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart. These are the words of the Mother of God, as recounted by Sr. Lucia in her memoirs about the apparitions, first published in the 1940s:

“If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.”

In June of 1929, Our Lady appeared to Sr. Lucia in her convent in Tuy, Spain. As promised, the Blessed Virgin requested the consecration she had mentioned 12 years earlier at Fatima. Our Lady’s words as recorded in Sr. Lucia’s memoirs:

“The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father, in union with all the Bishops of the world, to make the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means.”

Many are asking: Where is the peace that Our Lady promised would follow the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart? Is Russia as a nation converted as promised? As it is, the ideology of Communism has spread throughout the world – I need not mention all the continents and countries by that have been plagued by it. Our Lady told us that, if Russia is not consecrated as she asked, then “the Holy Father will have much to suffer.” Unfortunately, we now see this happening before our very eyes. She continued, “Nations will be annihilated…” Is the tsunami that occurred in Asia the beginning of this prophecy?

Since there is so much doubt and confusion about the Consecration of Russia, let us pray that light be shed on this important matter. For further insight, I invite you to read my reflections located in the Archives section of the website.

Attacks on Our Lady’s Cohort

Some of our members have asked us if other members also are being “attacked”. Oh, my yes! Those of us who are consecrated to Our Lady can expect that he who opposes himself to God will not be pleased by our living out of the messages which bring us closer to Jesus and to an eventual total submission to God’s will.

You are especially concerned when friends and family members, who were once ardent supporters and defenders of this Movement, have abandoned it and choose to no longer believe that the messages to Fr. Gobbi are authentic. Do not be discouraged by the actions of others. Remember that Our Lady prophesied that her Movement would be ferociously attacked and that people would abandon it. (see messages 98a-d, 297i, 312d, 497jk)

REFLECTIONS ON THE FEAST OF THE PRESENTATION

“My duty as Mother is that of bringing Jesus to you
and of bringing you all to Jesus.” (398i, Feb. 2, 1989)

We Must Be as Little Children…

You too, my beloved ones and children consecrated to my Heart, you too must allow yourselves to be carried in my motherly arms. The time of your light and your witness has come. For this reason, I invite you all to enter into the temple of my Immaculate Heart. Here, you are offered to the glory of the Father; here, you become molded in imitation of the Son; here, you are transformed by the powerful work of the Holy Spirit.”
(442g, February 2, 1991)

This way of spiritual childhood must of necessity be traversed by you, beloved sons, if you wish to live in a perfect manner the consecration to my Immaculate Heart.
It is only in this way that I can carry you, like my Infant Jesus, and offer you in the temple of the Lord for the realization of the designs of love and mercy He has upon you, for the salvation of all my children, scattered throughout the world.”
(258op, February 2, 1983)

She Carries Us At Each Moment of Our Day

“I am carrying out the same motherly plan in respect to each one of you, my dearly loved ones, called to relive in your priestly lives the plan and the mission of my Son Jesus. And so understand why I ask you to entrust yourselves completely to me, by your act of consecration to my Immaculate Heart. This act allows me to intervene in your life in order to direct it to the perfect fulfillment of the Will of the Father.

Thus I am situated at your side at each moment of your day. With my silence I help you to speak; with my voice I teach you to pray; with my hands I lead you on the right way; with my presence I bring comfort to your weariness; with my motherly love I console your suffering; with my powerful intercession I make fruitful your apostolic work; with my Immaculate Heart I give you joy and peace in moments of discouragement and aridity.

I am above all always close to you in climbing Calvary with you, in gathering up every drop of your suffering, in helping you to say yes to the Will of the Father, who is preparing you for the perfect immolation for the salvation of the world.”
(345e-g, February 2, 1987)

As Mother, She Offers Us to the Perfect Glory of God…

“In the temple of Jerusalem, I first offered my Child, Jesus, according to the prescriptions of the Mosaic Law. And now I must also offer each of you, my little children, according to the Will of my Son Jesus who, before dying on the Cross, entrusted you to me.

Beneath the Cross, and by the Will of Jesus, I became the true Mother of each one of you. And in what does my duty as Mother consist if not in offering you to the perfect glory of God?

I offer you to the glory of the Fathe r.
As in your heavenly Mother, He wishes to see shine forth in you with increasing brilliance the great design He has imprinted on the masterpiece of his creation; thus is He able to receive today from you, his little children, his perfect praise.

I offer you to the glory of the Son.
He wants to see realized in you, his brothers, his own likeness in such a manner that he can live once again through you and love, pray, suffer and work in order that the Father may be ever glorified in you. And thus the Son lives again perfectly, through you.

I offer you to the glory of the Holy Spirit. ” (193c-j, February 2, 1980)

She Is the Way to Divine Revelation…She Reveals Jesus to All Nations

As she journeyed along, carrying in her arms the Child Jesus towards the temple of Jerusalem, today she is journeying along all the roads of the world, to be the way for his luminous and glorious revelation.

“From my yes at the annunciation to the birth at Bethlehem, from the presentation in the temple to the flight into Egypt, from the days of infancy to the years of his youth spent at Nazareth, from the beginning of the public life to his immolation on the Cross, the presence of the Mother was always the way for a new and greater manifestation of the life and the mission of my Son Jesus.

Indeed my yes gives consent to the Word of the Father to assume, in my womb, his human nature; my motherly and virginal collaboration makes possible his birth into earthly life; my arms present Him in the temple of his glory and manifest Him as revelation to all nations (…); my motherly love becomes a precious help during the days of his infancy, threatened with snares; my presence is a daily support to his human adolescence; the warmth of my affection is a sweet repose to his weariness; my silence is a garden at the blossoming of his word; my act of faith solicits the divine intervention and anticipates the time of his mission; my Immaculate Heart pours balm upon the wounds of every official rejection; my sorrowing closeness is strength for his climb up Calvary; my total offering is an interior participation in his immense suffering; the presence of my person beneath the Cross is a profound act of cooperation with Him in his plan of redemption.

Carried in my arms, Jesus is revealed to all nations; held aloft by me, my Son fulfills his divine mission; along the road which I am preparing for Him, Jesus is carrying out his work and manifesting Himself as Savior of the world.

(…)

“I am also always present during the earthly journey of the Church, the Mystical Body of Jesus, entrusted by Him to the zealous care of my universal motherhood. In every epoch of her history, I have helped the Church to give a luminous witness to my Son, so that, in her and by means of her, Jesus may be able to reveal Himself ever more fully to all nations.

I am the way to divine Revelation.

I am particularly close to the Church in these times of her painful trial and her bloody purification. You understand then the significance of my present and so concerned interventions. Today I am intervening in a new, strong and extraordinary way, such as has never hitherto been done, as the Mother who wants to help all her children and as the heavenly Prophetess of these last times of yours. My light which is spreading more and more in hearts and souls – as a rising dawn in the long dark night in which you are still living – is announcing to you that the great day of the Lord is near.

For this reason I invite you to look to me, the Mother who is journeying along carrying in her arms the Child Jesus towards the temple of Jerusalem, towards the place of his manifestation. For this reason I invite you to look again to me, the Woman Clothed with the Sun, who is journeying along all the roads of the world, to be the way for his luminous and glorious revelation.” (345b-d;h-k, February 2, 1987)

ON SUFFERING

In the aftermath of the tsunami that left hundreds of thousands of people dead and homeless, I think that many of us have begun to contemplate death and suffering in a whole new light. For some, the reality that they are not “in control” has set in…they are believing in and praying to God. Yet, there are some who ask “WHY did such a thing happen?” Some even “blame” God for such a terrible disaster and loss of life. When God sends a chastisement, like the tsunami, unfortunately some of the innocent will be lost, but what awaits them is a heavenly paradise.

And for those who blame God, we, as Apostles of these Last Times, must teach them the redemptive value of suffering. Pray for your brothers and sisters… do all that you can to bring them to Jesus, NOW. We must be the light to others, to lead them to the light.

“The time has now come for you to emerge from your hiddenness and to go out and enlighten the earth. Present yourselves to all as my sons, for I am always with you. Let faith be the light which illumines you in these days of darkness, and let it be zeal alone for the honor and glory of my Son Jesus which consumes you.

Fight, sons of light, few though you still be! Many will follow in your footsteps and will become part of my cohort, because the hour of my battle has now come.

In this most cruel of winters, it is you who are the buds which are burgeoning forth from my Immaculate Heart, and which I am placing on the branches of the Church, to tell you that her most beautiful springtime is at hand.

This will be for her like a new Pentecost.” (172k-n, March 9, 1979)

How else can God awaken his people? The world is worse than at the time of Sodom and Gomorrah. Society and the family are in trouble, and God is totally pushed aside by humanity.

1. Laws are forbidding the display of the Ten Commandments
2. The Pledge of Allegiance is banned because it mentions God
3. Children are not allowed to pray in schools
4. Nativity scenes and the very word, “Christmas” are pushed aside.
5. Pornography, money and power have become the gods of our time.

And the greatest atrocity is the murder of children in the wombs of their mothers! January 22nd marked the 32nd anniversary of the legalization of abortion in the United States. In those years, how many innocents have been slaughtered in the wombs of their mothers.

Oh, yes, the times we are living are worse than during the time of Sodom and Gomorrah. The hour of justice has arrived …beg God’s mercy now…do not wait. The time has come for us to forgive those who have offended us, to love them, to pray for our enemies, to bring as many people as possible back to Jesus. Teach others what Our Lady tells us: that we will be protected if we ” enter into her Heart .”

Personal Trials Are Increasing for All

In these times in which we are being prepared for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Second Pentecost and the Second Coming of Jesus, the members of Our Lady’s White Army are being besieged with trials and tribulations. We are receiving letters, emails and phone calls, asking us to pray for so many persons who are undergoing tremendous sufferings – physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.

THE GREATEST GIFT WHICH WE CAN GIVE TO OUR LADY IS THE ACCEPTANCE OF OUR SUFFERINGS….WITH OUR “YES” WE CAN OBTAIN A NEW EFFUSION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Through the Marian Movement of Priests, in silence and hiddeness, Our Lady is preparing souls for her Triumph. In an invisible way, the New Church is being prepared and built in the hearts of those who say, “Yes” to God. Just as Our Lady, the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, was the receptacle for the Son of God, then in the same way our hearts are the receptacles which Our Lady is preparing to receive the new Church.

So then, embrace your sufferings and know that they are the key to the rebirth of the Church of Christ. Accept the sufferings as a purification, not only for yourselves, but for those who as yet do not have the faith; who do not know Jesus; who do not have the grace to accept the sufferings; who do not know to offer them up and to make of this a meritorious act.

Please bear in mind that the Triumph has yet to be won with much suffering… the agony of Good Friday must precede the joy of Easter Sunday.

We are the new buds which are sprouting from so much suffering:

“…you apostles of my Immaculate Heart.

All of you are these buds, my little children, who have consecrated yourselves to me and who live by my own spirit.

You are these buds, you faithful disciples of Jesus, who are desirous of living a life of contempt for the world and for yourselves, in poverty, in humility, in silence, in prayer and mortification, in charity and in union with God, while at the same time being unknown and scorned by the world.” (172hij, March 9, 1979)

Saint Francis on Suffering…

During the summer of 1225, St. Francis was living in a hut in San Damiano, Italy. He was suffering very much from an eye ailment which practically blinded him. His sufferings grew so intense that he prayed, “Lord, come and help me, that I may patiently endure my sickness.” Immediately St. Francis heard God answer him deep within his soul. “Tell me, Brother, wouldn’t you be very happy if, in exchange for the pain you now suffer, you were given a treasure compared to which the whole earth would have no value?” St. Francis responded with a “Yes.” The voice continued, “Well then, Francis, rejoice and sing. Sing while you are there, weak and sick, for you are earning nothing less than the kingdom of heaven.”

So, then, we must not be disheartened by the sufferings which we have to undergo on this earth. They are strengthening us, and what we suffer now will shorten our time in Purgatory. Bless God, then, in these times of adversity. Pray for an increase in faith, hope, trust, perseverance, and love of the Lord. The one sure road to assure you peace in your suffering is ABANDONMENT TO GOD’S WILL…Lord, thy Will be done in my life, on earth as it is in Heaven. Do not fight against the onslaught of suffering. Accept it, and it will be so much easier to bear. Know that, by doing so, you are acting as co-redeemers with Christ and, as He abandoned his will to the Father to save humanity, so too can we help to win souls for Christ. All it takes is one tremendous act of pure and complete trust and abandonment!

Only then can we really be at peace and know that he orders everything in our life for our sanctification and our final reward with Him in heaven. But we have to want it…God will not force us to give up our free will. We have to say, as did Jesus, “Father, not my will, but thine be done.”

Message 223 – “Yes, Father”

March 25, 1981
Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord

a.“Beloved children, entrust yourselves to me, and I will bring you to perfect docility to the Will of the Father.

b. Just as it was for my Jesus, so too on the plan for the life of each one of you it is written: ‘Behold, I come to do your Will, O Lord.’ (Heb 10:7)

c. Your heavenly Mother wants today to help you fulfill well – and only – the divine Will. This is the Will of God: your sanctification!

d. By the gift of your sanctity, you place on the altar of the Lord a powerful force of intercession and reparation. For how many evils, how many sins reparation is offered each day on the part of my beloved sons who, led by their heavenly Mother, journey along the painful way of their own sanctification!

e. Do not look at the great evils which are still perpetrated and spread about by the highly refined means of social communication.

f. Under the ashes of the immense desert, to which this poor world has today been reduced, many new buds of life and salvation are sprouting. These are the lives, hidden and unknown but how precious, of my priests and of all those children whom I lead, each day, along the road to sanctity.

g. Let your yes to the Will of the Father be realized in your daily effort to shun and to free yourselves from sin, to live in grace and in the fullness of love; in the effort to recollect yourselves in the intimacy of prayer and of life with Jesus, of reflection and of the understanding of his divine word; in the interior suffering in the face of the great abandonment and the solitude in which man today finds himself.

h. Yes, Father, to your Will, that as in heaven, so also on this earth, your Will alone may be done.

i. Yes, Father, that as in heaven, so may it be done on earth, abandoned as it is and never before so threatened as today.

j. Yes, Father, to your scorned love, to your outraged presence, to your spurned word.

k. Yes, Father, to the gift of your immense mercy which shines forth in your Son whom, through the yes of the Virgin Mother, you have once for all given us, Jesus-salvation, Jesus-life, Jesus-truth, Jesus-fount of divine mercy, Jesus-perfect fulfillment of the divine Will.

l. May your yes, beloved children, be placed in the yes which the heavenly Mother forever repeats to her God: for the soon-to-come triumph of my Immaculate Heart in the triumph of mercy and love, of truth and justice…”

Our Lady Opens the Book of Revelation…
The Prophecies are Coming to Pass

In message #370, given December 31, 1987, precisely 10 years before she gave her last public message to Fr. Gobbi, Our Lady warned us of the impending tribulation:

c.“Know how to read and to meditate upon that which, in Sacred Scripture, has been clearly described for you to help you understand the time in which you are living. With my motherly voice I am leading you all to understand the signs of the great tribulation. From the Gospels, from the Letters of the Apostles and from the book of the Apocalypse, sure signs have been clearly described for you to make you understand what the period of the great tribulation is. All these signs are in the act of being realized in this time of yours.

d. First of all, a great apostasy is spreading in every part of the Church, through the lack of faith which is flooding even among its very pastors. Satan has succeeded in spreading everywhere the great apostasy, by means of his subtle work of seduction, which has brought many to be alienated from the truth of the Gospel to follow the fables of the new theological theories and to take delight in evil and in sin, sought after as an actual good.

e. Then, in your time, overturnings of the order of nature are multiplying, such as earthquakes, droughts, floods, and disasters which cause the unforeseen death of thousands of persons, followed by epidemics and incurable diseases which are spreading everywhere.

f. Moreover, your days are marked by continual rumors of wars which are multiplying and are reaping, each day, innumerable victims. Conflicts and dissensions within countries are increasing; revolts and struggles between various peoples are propagating; bloody wars are continuing to extend themselves, notwithstanding all the efforts which are being made to attain peace.

g. Finally, in your time, there are occurring great signs in the sun, on the moon and in the stars . The miracle of the sun which took place at Fatima was a sign which I gave you to warn you that the times of these extraordinary phenomena which are taking place in the heavens have now arrived. And how many times during my present apparitions have you yourselves been able to contemplate the great prodigies that are taking place in the sun.

h. Just as the buds which sprout forth on the trees tell you that spring has now arrived, so also these great signs which are taking place in your time are telling you that even now there has come to you the great tribulation , which is preparing you for the new era which I have promised you with the triumph of my Immaculate Heart in the world.

(370c-h, December 31, 1987)

HOW LONG?…
“BE STILL BEFORE THE LORD AND WAIT IN PATIENCE”(Ps 37:7)

We are so weary from our own sufferings and those of the whole world, that we may be tempted to ask, “How much longer must we wait? Surely, Jesus must return soon.” The response Our Lady gives is this: “Do not scrutinize the future…and thus neither anxiety nor discouragement will take hold of you…”

She continues,

l. Often I am, as it were, surprised to see with what anxiety – and sometimes even with such great human curiosity – you scrutinize the future. You often on occasion ask yourself: ‘But when will this purification take place?’

m. There are even some who, in my name, believe that they can indicate the dates of events and exact occurrences, and they forget that the hour and the moment is a secret hidden in the merciful and fatherly Heart of God.

n. The Mother cannot put time limits on her motherly admonition or her merciful expectation.

o. And so I say to you, beloved sons, do not scrutinize the future, and thus, neither anxiety nor discouragement will take hold of you! Live only in the present instant, in complete abandonment, close to my Immaculate Heart, the present instant which the love of the Heavenly Father puts at your disposal, my little children…

p. Before the Father – the omnipresent Father – only the present moment counts: not the past nor the future because this time is not yours.

q. Live then each moment upon my Heart in prayer. Share my suffering, privileged sons of mine. At the time when the whole world was once for all redeemed and purified, the Father accepted the Son’s divine suffering together with my human suffering of the Mother.

r. Your suffering, my sons, is truly contributing to the purification of the earth.

s. If the chastisement comes, it will be only as an ultimate and solemn demand for suffering to bring about the renewal of the world and the salvation of so many poor children of mine. (81 l-s, September 15, 1975)

“The Hour of Our Liberation is Near”

Do not fear, brothers and sisters. “Live with confidence”, and trust in her promise that all of the following will occur:

— Jesus WILL return…

“Live today in expectation of his glorious return.
Christ Risen is alive in your midst. Do not fear: He is guiding the events of human history to the realization of the Will of the Heavenly Father and of his great plan of salvation. Christ Risen is now seated in heaven upon his throne of glory, at the right hand of the Father.
To Him all things are subjected. Beneath his footstool all his enemies will be humbled and defeated. As of today, human history is opened up to the full glorification of the risen Christ. The risen Christ will come again to you on the clouds of heaven, in the full splendor of his glory.”(402b-c, March 26, 1989)

Satan WILL be defeated…

Your liberation will coincide with the defeat of Satan and of every diabolical spirit.
All the demons and the spirits of the damned who, during these years, have been poured out into every part of the world for the ruin and damnation of souls, will be cast into hell, from which they have come, and they will no longer be able to do harm.
All the power of Satan will be destroyed.” (478jkl, October 2, 1992)

The Church WILL be reborn…

“In the light of his truth, the Church will see herself in all her human weakness and will be healed of her crisis of faith; she will be set free from the snares of errors, which have spread the deep wound of apostasy and infidelity within her.
Renewed by the divine fire of the Holy Spirit, the entire Church will reflect the glory of her Lord and will again become a faithful and chaste Spouse, all beautiful, without spot or wrinkle, in imitation of her heavenly Mother.” (595hi, May 18, 1997)

“…Then the Church will once again be all beautiful, without spot or wrinkle, in imitation of your immaculate Mother.
In the Church, purified and completely renewed, there will shine forth in all its great power, the one and only light of Christ, which will be spread by it in every part of the earth, and thus all nations will run to it, for the perfect glorification of the Most Holy Trinity.” (483no, December 8, 1992)

We WILL see a new terrestrial paradise (new heavens and a new earth), more beautiful than the first Garden of Eden.

“The glorious reign of Christ, which will be established in your midst, with the second coming of Jesus in the world, is close at hand. This is his return in glory. This is his glorious return, to establish his reign in your midst and to bring all humanity, redeemed by his most precious blood, back to the state of his new terrestrial paradise.
That which is being prepared is so great that its equal has never existed since the creation of the world…”(435cd, October 13, 1990)

“But yours is like the suffering of a mother who must bring her child to the light. In fact, the immense pain of these last times prepares the birth of a new era, the new times, when Jesus will come in the splendor of his glory and will restore his reign in the world.
Then all creation, set free from the slavery of sin and of death, will know the splendor of a second terrestrial paradise, in which God will dwell with you, will wipe away every tear, and there will no longer be day or night, because the former things have passed away and your light will be that of the Lamb and of the new Jerusalem come down from heaven upon the earth, ready as a bride for her Spouse.”(431kl, September 8, 1990)

“…the Most Holy Trinity has entrusted to the Immaculate Heart
of your heavenly Mother the task of preparing the Church and all humanity
to live with confidence the hour of the great tribulation,
which prepares you for the glorious return of Christ.”(387i)

“Beloved sons, look with my eyes at the times in which you are living.
Persevere in prayer, in suffering and in hope
because the hour of your liberation is near.”
(March 9, 1979, 172op)
I wish you all a holy season of Lent which begins next Wednesday, February 9th. I pray that these teachings on the value of suffering will serve as a good meditation for you in these weeks leading up to Holy Week and Easter. May Our Lady continue to draw you closer to her Son Jesus, and may Our Lord grant you his peace in these times of trial and tribulation.

With God’s choicest blessings,
