IMPORTANT STATEMENT ABOUT

THE UNAUTHORIZED USE OF OUR LADY’S MESSAGES

 

Since the opening for the cause of beatification of Fr. Gobbi on May 1, 2024, there has been renewed interest in the Marian Movement of Priests and the messages that Fr. Gobbi received from Our Lady as recorded in the book, “To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons.” (the “Blue Book”)

 

The Blue Book messages are copyrighted; therefore, no one is authorized to quote from them,

either in books, videos or other media.  The following copyright statement in the 2026 typical Italian edition, “Ai Sacerdoti figli prediletti della Madonna” is clear, concise and not subject to misinterpretation:

 

“No part of this book may be published or reproduced without written authorization from the Marian Movement of Priests Foundation. Any violation of this norm will be legally prosecuted.”

 

This was also the request of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF).  

 

Throughout the years, any requests to quote, in whole or in part, from any language editions of the book have been denied by Fr. Gobbi and MMP directors and centers around the world who are entrusted with the same responsibility of protecting and safeguarding the integrity of the blue book messages. 

 

Sadly, although permission is never be granted for the messages to be copied in any other publication, some authors have chosen to disregard the strict directive and to publish anyway. Anyone who has copied from these messages has done so without our permission and are in violation of copyright. 

 

THE MESSAGES MUST NOT BE MIXED W/ OTHER CONTENT

 

Furthermore, what some authors and YouTubers have done is to combine and mix the Blue Book messages with content from various other mystics, leading to possible misinterpretation.  They pick and choose messages and rearrange them in their own ways, thereby rendering their own interpretations and conclusions.  When passages from Our Lady’s messages are handpicked in this manner, the reader is influenced by the authors’ personal conclusions and ways of thinking which may well be contradicting what Our Lady Herself has said.  There is always the risk of implied interpretation when the messages are removed from the book and placed into another publication. 

 

Taking the messages out of their proper context and co-mingling them with other content is rendering a great disservice to Our Lady’s plan as laid out in the messages to Fr. Gobbi.  She has a specific purpose to accomplish with her messages to Fr. Gobbi.  The Blue Book has more than a prophetic dimension to it; it lays out a spiritual formation undertaken by Our Lady herself, hence the importance of respecting the content of the messages and the context in which they were given. Our Lady told Fr. Gobbi how very important these messages are and that this is Her Movement, Her Work; hence the need to safeguard their integrity.

“This is not one of many movements, but it is my Movement, my son.” (37e)

 

 

OUR LADY IS FORMING US TO A NEW WAY OF LIFE

The messages are a spiritual preparation. 

In message # 282, “My Book” given to Fr. Gobbi in 1984, Our Lady tells us,

g “What do I say in this book of mine? (…)

i  I teach you how to live; I form you in a practical way to live with me.

j  I tell you the things which I have most on my Heart, because they are the very things which Jesus has told you in the Gospel…”  (282g-j)

 

By means of Her messages, She forms us, as She did with Fr. Gobbi, into a new way of living and acting.  She issues a call to action to pray (in the cenacles) and to be consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart. 

 

OUR LADY DOES NOT WANT US FOCUSED ON END TIMES

The messages are always to be read as a whole and never in parts.  Apocalyptic themes in the Blue Book have to be understood within the context of the entire message.   When we focus only on the messages that deal with the end times and the Book of Revelation, we leave out a vast majority of the messages in which Our Lady is forming and guiding us so that we will be prepared to live through these times. 

 

What will it give us to focus on the future, if we remain unprepared?  That’s why the cenacles are so important – to pray the rosary, to consecrate ourselves to Her Immaculate Heart and to allow ourselves to be formed and guided by her words.  She desires to speak to our respective hearts.  And She leads us to hope!  Our Lady does not want us to be trepidatious and focused on end times.  In fact, She tells us that She does not want the messages to be used for a curious peering into the future which might lead to our being filled with fear and anxiety.

 

Here we quote from Her words to Fr. Gobbi:

“I have also told you that this is the time of the purification and that these are the years of my triumph.

But do not search out the moment, scrutinizing the future and counting the years, the months and the

days.  In this way you would be caught up by anxiety and agitation and would truly waste your time,

which is so precious.”  (104j)

  

“Often I am, as it were, surprised to see with what anxiety – and sometimes even with such great human curiosity – you scrutinize the future.  You often on occasion ask yourself: ‘But when will this purification take place?’   (…)

“And so I say to you, beloved sons, do not scrutinize the future, and thus, neither anxiety nor discouragement will take hold of you!  Live only in the present instant, in complete abandonment, close to my Immaculate Heart, the present instant which the love of the Heavenly Father puts at your disposal, my little children…

“Before the Father – the omnipresent Father – only the present moment counts: not the past nor the future because this time is not yours.”  (#81 l, o-p)

 

And yet, even despite all those messages in which she is telling us not to focus on the future, some authors and YouTubers continue to sensationalize and call attention primarily to those about the end times and of an apocalyptic nature, running contrary to the wishes of Fr. Gobbi and Our Lady Herself.  

 

 

 

OUR LADY DOES NOT NEED PROPAGANDA

 

If anyone thinks they are helping the cause and that Our Lady needs them to spread the messages, then they are sadly mistaken.  She tells us, “My motherly action is the only thing necessary for the spread of my Movement.” (77d) She does not want her messages to be sensationalized nor to be copied into books about end times that distort the true meaning and intention of Her words.  Furthermore, She neither wants or needs any publicity or action on our part to try to prove its authenticity.  She desires only our silent prayer. 

“I do not want any propaganda, but only prayer and docility to my voice.” (#59f)

 

THE BLUE BOOK IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT

 

The book, “To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons” is a non-commercial edition and only the MMP national centers around the world have the authority to print and distribute it.  As per the request of Fr. Gobbi, the printed book was to remain the only means of distributing the messages. We obediently follow the tradition as handed down by him.

 

No one, then, has permission to copy the messages in any electronic format.  This opens up the messages to the possibility of their being taken out of their proper context by being easily copied and pasted into other publications and thus misrepresented.    If you see the messages online, we ask you not to copy them and to please abide by and respect Our Lady's wishes. 

 

We always have an ample supply of blue books available for use in your cenacles. 

 

REQUESTS FOR THE BLUE BOOK

and clarification about its distribution

 

We caution you not to rely on the interpretations of Our Lady’s words by various authors and YouTubers.  Rather, and by all means, please write to request a copy of the blue book so that you can read the messages within their proper context and let Our Lady Herself form you individually through her words.  Do not let other opinions serve as your guide because you will perhaps be filled with anxiety, and moreover, your understanding of Our Lady’s words will be clouded and misguided by what they have written and the interpretations that they have made, and not by what Our Lady wants to speak to your heart.

 

On the MMP-MSM international website, you will read: “The book is not to be sold. It can be obtained through participation in the prayer cenacles of the Marian Movement of Priests.”

 

So, can anyone get a copy of the book, even if they don’t belong to a cenacle?  Yes, we will honor individual requests for the book; but it is hoped that, once you have the book, you will give serious consideration and accept Her urgent invitation to be committed to forming a cenacle.  Remember, you need only one other person to join you to have an authentic cenacle.

 

The blue book is a non-commercial edition available only from authorized MMP national centers, and must never be sold for profit.  Although Our Lady does not want the book to be sold, we do need funds to continue printing additional copies.  On the order form, a donation amount is suggested; however, anyone who wants the book and cannot afford an offering can request to receive one free of charge.

 

HOW TO INTRODUCE THE MMP TO OTHERS

 

We are often asked for guidance on how to properly spread the messages.

In our MMP consecration, we promise to "lead those souls with whom we come in contact to a renewed devotion to [Her]."  When the opportunity presents itself, this is precisely what should be done, but always discreetly and preceded by much prayer and discernment (cf. #77e).  The more effective approach is a personal one-on-one with the other person, but it's also acceptable to place a simple announcement in the parish bulletin, inviting others to participate in the Cenacle. 

It helps to keep a copy of the blue book on hand for these occasions, to show it to the person and to ask if they'd like to learn more about the MMP; but always respecting their response and not pressuring them if their answer is 'no'.  Remember that, since it is Our Lady who does the calling, then She also will arrange and "orchestrate" these encounters. 

As She tells us, it is Her Motherly action alone that is necessary for the spread of Her Movement, and it is this action alone that prepares souls. (cf. #77d)    

“Let us suppose that with a perfect organization we could send out immediately all the booklets

requested.  Do you think that this would be sufficient for the spread of my Movement?  No, my

son, because the booklets, once they had arrived at their destination, could be put away in a

drawer by those who receive them, without being read; or even if read, they could leave the

reader completely indifferent.  “My motherly action is the only thing necessary for the spread

of my Movement.   (77cd)

 

Some of you have the best of intentions and would like for all your family members to read the

book, or perhaps even to place a copy in the hands of every priest in your city, state or diocese. 

This is not how the Movement spreads. The book should be shared only on a personal level and

always accompanied by a short introduction about the Movement and Our Lady’s desire that

cenacles be formed.  Preferably, the book should be given only to those who are willing to

follow what Our Lady is asking of us in the messages – to be in a cenacle.  If after reading the book

the person does not feel called to do so, then you might ask that they return the book so that it can

be passed on to someone else who might be more receptive.

OUR LADY NEEDS OUR HELP IN SPREADING THE CENACLES!

 

Our Blessed Mother has a very specific mission, a particular spiritual formation, to accomplish in the cenacles – to form us according to the very word of her Son Jesus, to transform us into His very image and likeness.  That’s why the cenacles are so important, to be taught and formed in our consecration by meditating on Her words.  

She tells us that She urgently needs our prayer in order to bring her plan to fulfillment:

 

“I have need of you and of your prayer to realize the great plan of the triumph of my Immaculate Heart.” (29t)

 

f  “Multiply your cenacles of prayer.  Pray more; pray with me; pray, with the recitation of the holy rosary.  I desire that Christian families consecrate themselves to my Immaculate Heart and become cenacles of prayer, of love and of life with me.  Let the priests of my Movement gather the faithful entrusted to them in cenacles of prayer because, during this year, I have need of a great force of intercession and of reparation to bring to fulfillment the plan which the Most Holy Trinity has entrusted to my Immaculate Heart.”  (371f)

 

b “…gather together often in your cenacles, in order to give me a great force of prayer, with which I may be able to intervene before my Son Jesus, that He may quickly obtain for you from the Father the gift of a new and second Pentecost for the Church and for all humanity.”  (310b)

 

So then, will you prayerfully consider forming a cenacle with a family member or friend?  If you have already heeded Our Lady's call at Fatima to pray a daily rosary, it could be transformed into an MMP cenacle by adding the necessary elements in the format listed below:

1.  Invocation to the Holy Spirit

2.  The Rosary

3.   Prayer for the Holy Father’s intentions

4.   Reading of a Message from the Blue Book

5.   Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

 

Above all, Our Lady desires family cenacles in every home!   

“…Bring the greater number of my children to the consecration to my Immaculate Heart, desired and requested by me. (…) Multiply the cenacles of prayer.  Above all, spread family cenacles, like a great net of salvation.” (375g)

 

So then, let us spread these cenacles like a contagion that propagates from person to person.  May the urgent nature of Our Lady's appeal be the inspiration for you to respond.

·       You can call us to inquire if there is a registered cenacle meeting in your area.

·       For those who are homebound, there are also cenacles held via Zoom and phone.   

 

UNITY WITH THE POPE

 

Finally, something must also be said about members of the clergy and laity who profess to be members of the MMP, even conducting cenacles on social media platforms, and yet criticize our Pope.  This is in direct opposition to the second commitment to which we adhere as members: unity with the Pope and to the Church united to him.

In the messages, Our Lady asks us to pray, to love the Holy Father, the Pope, and to offer our sufferings that he will fulfill the task the Lord has given him.

The MMP, Our Lady tells us, is “the great army which, in silence and in hiddenness, I have been forming for myself during these years in every part of the world, through my Marian Movement of Priests, for the defense and the strong support of the Pope.” (385i)
