Fr. Henry Bordeaux, OCD, a longtime member of the MMP, passed away on November 30, 2022. He was 86 years old.
Fr. Henry had attended many of the clergy retreats over the years. He was instrumental in starting cenacles for both priests and laity in San Antonio, Little Rock and Oklahoma City, the cities where he had resided.
In a talk given to his brother priests during the 2021 annual clergy retreat (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIr0206xgVw), Fr. Henry shared that he recited the following prayer daily, as taught to us by Our Lady in message #6 of the blue book: “ ‘Mother, I trust you, I let myself be led by you. Tell me: what must I do?’ ”
May we all strive to follow in his footsteps, letting the words of Our Mother guide us in everything that we do.
